Campus

The SLS France Program takes place on the Georgia Tech-Europe campus located in Metz, France, which is known for its beautiful medieval city center and is located in the heart of Europe: 45 minutes from Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium; 2 hours from Switzerland; and 1.5 hours from Paris.

The courses taught at GTE are taught by Georgia Tech professors and all course credits transfer back seamlessly, just as if they were taken in Atlanta.

Students take classes 4 days a week and will participate in excursions and guided visits specific to the French Program at Georgia Tech-Europe.

Students may choose to combine this program with the LBAT France summer program. Participation in the French Program at Georgia Tech-Europe and/or the LBAT France summer program allows students the option of completing most or all of the requirements for a French minor and the International Plan.

All students are housed in dorms walking distance from the GTE class building. Each of the dorm buildings varies in room layout and amenities, but all students have their own room.

There is no meal plan provided in the Fall semester, however there is a cafeteria near the GTE building that serves student meals for about 3 euros. Students will also have access to either a private or shared kitchen in their dorms.
