HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM THE GTE PROGRAM?

This program allows for a step further into cultural and language immersion while at Georgia Tech-Europe. With an emphasis on French language study, Sciences, and Sustainability, students will experience real language immersion while focusing on the region’s sustainability efforts through coursework, service-learning projects, and excursions. Students will have the opportunity to engage with Metz’ residents on issues such as the fight against climate change; the preservation of the region’s biodiversity and natural resources; and ideas about improving the quality of life for the city’s inhabitants.

IS THE PROGRAM OPEN TO NON-GEORGIA TECH STUDENTS?

Yes. Non-Georgia Tech students (transient students) are welcome to study at GTE and participate in the SLS France Program. Transient students must have a 3.0 GPA in order to be considered for the program. Please contact us at SLS-France@gatech.edu for further application details.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR ACCEPTANCE TO GTE?

Georgia Tech students must have a 2.5 GPA minimum to attend GTE. Transient (non-GT) students must have a 3.0 GPA. Students must have no disciplinary actions on their record.

WHICH COURSES ARE APPROVED FOR SLS CREDIT?
